
| JAMES was born May 1778 in Charney Bassett married Sarah Dowsell in Childry, Berks on 15 May 1802 and moved to Sparsholt where he died in Feb 1838. James was more than likely an Ag Lab. |
| JOHN was born March 1808 in Sparsholt, he married Maria Hawkins 6 November 1833 at Sparsholt, he was an Ag lab and died in Sparsholt. |
| THOMAS born September 1810 was an Ag Lab, he married Ann Winchcomb 3 August 1838, Ann already had a child Sarah Ann, Thomas and Ann did not have any children. |
| THOMAS born about 1838, he married Elizabeth Alexander in March 1870 in Portsea, Hampshire. I don't know why he moved there, he was an Ag lab, and then became a general labourer. They moved about a bit children being born 1871 and 1874 in Portsmouth,1876 in either Monmouth or Portishead, Somerset, 1879,1882and 1885 in Nailsea. After 1891 the family moved to Long Ashton in Somerset. All of the children I can find getting married got married in Long Ashton. |
| WILLIAM born 1840 married Elizabeth (Isabella) 12 October 1859 in Harwell, Berks. William was born in Sparsholt but moved to Harwell sometime before his marriage. He was a shepherd. All his children were born in Harwell and he died there August 1870. |
| JAMES born 22 February 1844 in Sparsholt, Berkshire, he was
an Ag lab and married Eliza Hoare 4 November 1866 in Sparsholt. In 1875
the family consisting of James, Eliza and their 3 children set sail for
New Zealand, their 4th child was born on board the Earl of Zetland and
was named Rose Zetland. The family settled in Balclutha where a further
